Structure and Control for Every Project Scope

The TANSS Project Ticket module offers a flexible solution for planning, organizing, and executing IT projects, whether small tasks or complex customer projects. By combining main and subtickets, project phases, billing logic, and statistical functions, projects of all sizes can be clearly structured and efficiently managed. Cross-customer initiatives, such as disruption waves, can also be bundled and centrally represented.

Flexibility

From single tickets to large projects: With multiple phases, projects can be tailored precisely to individual requirements.

Organization

Complex topics are divided into clear units with main and subtickets. Issues affecting multiple customers can be bundled and handled centrally.

Scaling

Thanks to freely definable project phases, tasks can be divided into clear sections with their own timeframes, responsibilities, and billing rules.

Roles, Responsibilities, and Billing Under Control

The Project Ticket module enables the central management of all project-related responsibilities and billing parameters. Roles allow for precise definition of responsibilities and rights allocation, avoiding misunderstandings in project organization. Each team member knows exactly what tasks are assigned to them and what permissions they have.

Billing can also be flexibly designed: Services can be billed based on estimated efforts, defined service limits, or project-specific flat rates.

Central Management of All Project Parameters

In every project, important economic and planning framework parameters can be centrally defined. These include, for example, service limits, flat rates, or estimated efforts. These parameters help to adhere to budgets, simplify project planning, and efficiently manage service delivery.

For maximum flexibility, billing conditions can be individually defined per sub-ticket if desired – ideal when different services within a project are provided under different conditions. Special rules and project-specific agreements can also be directly mapped this way.

Clear Structure Thanks to Defined Project Phases

One of the most important functions in the Project Ticket is the phase structure, which allows even extensive projects to be clearly planned and executed. Phases can be freely named, temporally separated, and can include any number of tickets. It is possible to build individual phases on each other, assign start and end dates, and optionally allow partial billing per phase.

Standardized phase profiles simplify the creation of new projects and ensure consistent processes throughout the company. This creates a transparent roadmap for all project participants.

Evaluations and Progress in Real-Time

TANSS provides extensive evaluations for each project, divided into tickets, phases, and overall project views. In addition to the total duration, calculated and uncalculated times are displayed separately. This provides a clear picture of profitability and project development at any time.

If efforts are estimated in advance, the system automatically shows the percentage project progress and warns when the defined budget is exceeded. For flat-rate projects, it is possible to precisely determine whether the actual effort is below or above the agreed value.

Thanks to full integration into the TANSS escalation and rule system, controlling rules can be automatically defined. This enables proactive project monitoring, including automatic alerts for deviations, budget overruns, or delays.
